Life Obstacles

Hello!
 
Life loves to throw obstacles in our path.
 
There are a few choices that you can make when that HUGE obstacle is standing in your way:
  • Stand in front of it and do nothing.
  • Drop to the floor and cry.
  • Walk away and ask "why do bad things always happen to me"
  • Look at it and accept the challenge and either go over it or charge the hell through it!
One thing that I have learned over the years is to stop asking "why me?" Everything happens for a reason. It's how we handle those situations that shows the type of person we are. It shows you either as a quitter, whiner or a fighter. Which one are you?
 
As the we approach the mid weigh in I am preparing to continue my fight with fat without being involved in the Lighten Up challenge. I have not done to well with my weight and I'm not going to make excuses. Instead of charging through the obstacle I chose to not push myself. I have lost since the last weigh in, but sadly it will not be enough to make it through the second half.
 
On a happier note my daughter Brittany Cosper has gone above and beyond the challenge and she will be going onto the second half of the challenge. She makes me and her father so proud! We love you baby girl!
 
I will not be signing off "Until next time" as this will be my last blog since I will not be making through the second half.

Just keep going.

Spending time with family and loving every minute! I have not stepped up on the scale since the disappointing weigh in last week. Planning on drinking my water, watching my food intake and getting as many steps in as possible in 24 hours. No matter how many times you get knocked down, it's how you bounce back up and face the challenge is what counts.

Happy Easter

I did have chocolate through the week to go with the stress and PMS. The more I try to put a program together by myself the more frustrated I get. I think it's time to earn some extra overtime pay for a personal trainer to help me put one together. The more I research the more frustrated I get. That's alright, it is like a jig saw puzzle that I need to put together. Tomorrow is a new day!

Marriage to Fitness

It was an ok week. Busy at work, diet was ok but exercise not so good. I did do a lot of soul searching and research with the following outcome.
 
Going to hit the weights hard and ease up on the cardio a little.
 
Going to follow a Paleo lifestyle.

Back on Track

It was a rough week with illness. Past couple days are the first days that I'm starting to feel normal.
 
A co-worker has recruited me to run The Biggest Loser half marathon in August. So in return I recruited her for The Run For Your Lives zombie run at the end of May. Would like to do a run each month.
